Ingredients for 6 people:

Flour 600g

2 lemon peels

1 orange peel

2 tablespoon of sugar

1 glass of sweet white wine or passito wine

liquid honey 50 gr


olive oil

rosemary (to decorate)



Place a saucepan with 2 liters of water along with the two lemon peels, sugar and a pinch of salt.

Boil it then turn off the heat, add the wine and pour the flour, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until the mixture is compact and comes away from the bottom adhering fully to the ladle.

Put the dough on a pastry well oiled and kneaded long.

At this point, create snakes of dough that will tie giving it the shape of floccule and fry in hot oil until will be golden.

Drain them and put them to dry on a paper towel and then arrange in a serving dish and cover with the liquid honey, orange zest and a pinch of cinnamon powder.
