Walnut and pears cake

Ingredients for 4-6 people:

Butter 60g

sugar 150g

1 egg

flour sifted with baking powder 260 gr

Milk 125 ml

pecans, coarsely chopped 80g

2 pears, sliced

1 tablespoon of sugar (for sprinkling)

½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder (for sprinkling)

butter (to grease).


Preheat oven to 180 ° C and grease a baking pan with butter then, cover it with baking paper.

In a bowl, with the mixer, whip the butter together with the sugar, add the egg and continue blending.

Add also the flour a little at a time alternating with the milk then, while stirring, the chopped pecan nuts.

When the mixture is well blended, pour the mixture into the pan and decorate the surface with slices of pear.

Sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon and bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutes.

Serve cold.
