Turkey with roasted potatoes

Ingredients 8 people:

1 turkey of 2 kg.

700 g. of potatoes 1 glass of extra virgin olive oil Salt, pepper and rosemary


Clean and tie the turkey to keep its shape during cooking. Put it in a pan and add oil, salt and pepper. Put it in the oven already brought to a temperature of 180 °, cook it for 40 minutes on one side and another 40 minutes on the other side, while cooking it with 2 ladles of warm water during cooking. Peel the potatoes, cut them into large pieces and add them to the turkey halfway through cooking with a few leaves of rosemary. As soon as you see that a fork sinks easily into the thigh, remove the turkey from the oven, put it on a serving dish, add the potatoes and sprinkle it with the cooking sauce.
